Get to Know Us
Virginia Marine was built on a shared passion for boating, fishing, and helping others. Luke Nickert and Tom Foster first crossed paths when Luke worked for Tom in high school, and over the past 10+ years, their friendship grew alongside their passion for the water.
Seeing a need in the community for trusted marine service and quality boats, they combined their skills and experience to create Virginia Marine—a place where local boaters can get top-notch service, parts, and advice from people who truly care about getting you back on the water.

Luke Nickert
Luke was born and raised in Suffolk. He has a passion for boats, fishing, fixing things and helping others.

Tom Foster
Tom was born in Texas and has lived in Western Branch since he was seven. He comes from a military family. Boats, fishing, and service run in his blood.
